2022 Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition

Atlantic Hall submitted entries for the world’s oldest international writing competition for schools, the 2022 Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition. Established in 1883, with thousands of young people taking part each year, this year’s competition witnessed a record-breaking 26,300 entries from participants across all the member-states of the Commonwealth of Nations.

Our very own student, Dara Paul-Makwe submitted her entry for the senior category with the theme, ‘Inspirational Leader From the 20th Century’.

After about four months of rigorous evaluation by the Judges, Dara’s essay was adjudged a Bronze award.
