Most frequently asked questions
Are fees discounted for siblings?
Yes. There is a discount of 5% for a second child who is enrolled full-time. A 10% discount is offered for a third child who is enrolled full-time. A 15% discount is offered for a fourth child. Discounts are offered only after full payment of fees are received by the school.
Does Atlantic Hall offer additional academic programs specifically designed for students with learning differences?
Atlantic Hall provides basic learning support for students with different learning needs. Atlantic Hall teachers also differentiate their lessons to meet the individual learning styles and learning needs of students. The school’s goal is to provide the guidance and support that is needed for all students to reach their academic potential.
Application form
Parents are required to purchase an admission form at the rate of #15, 000 each to commence the admission process. The form will then be filled out and submitted. Parents are required to submit along with the form: a copy of candidate’s Birth certificate, a recent passport photograph, and (if available) Bio-data page of international passport.
Assessment/Examination
The prospective student is required to take our entrance examination on-site or online depending on the convenient arrangement.
JSS1 Entrance Subjects:
- English Language
- Mathematics, and
- Non-Verbal Reasoning
Transfer Examination Subjects (JSS2, JSS3, SS1):
- English language
- Mathematics, and
- Science
Cognitive Ability Tests (CAT4)
For students who are offered an admission, subsequently enrolled, the school administers a Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT4). This is an online assessment designed by GL Education. GL Education is the United Kingdom’s leading provider of high-quality & research-based assessments for children’s education.
Feedback
The Candidate’s scores will then be shared with the parents. Exam scores are confidential and are treated with utmost confidentiality. The school will provide an admission pack with all school information, the calendar, and uniform lists. Uniforms are available from designated outfitters. It is important to organize and book items well ahead of resumption.
Offer of Admission & Acceptance
Upon passing the entrance examination, prospective students who pass the entrance examination will be offered admission and placement at Atlantic Hall School. Parents of successful JS1 candidates will receive notification by email and telephone. A non-refundable deposit of ₦200,000.00 is required to confirm admission, which will be deducted from the child’s First Term fees.
